Fit family!!
Here is our son getting buff. He is in gymnastics and they have him do push ups, sit ups, candle sticks, and crab walks. We work on this everyday at home. He has to do 10 of each or hold for 10 seconds. 

Ofcourse he is rewarded with a jelly bean for each set of ten.  If he’s in the mood for lots of candy he will spend a whole doing sit ups. Haha :)

In Orlando. I packed a weeks worth of Dara’s spice muffins. Pulled it out of the fridge, added 1/2 tsp coconut oil, and a touch of Splenda. Perfect to hold me over until dinner and walking around Disney boardwalk.

I’m trying to cut out artificial sweeteners.  It is so hard though. This morning: oatmeal, cinnamon, and walnuts. Yum..  I do still miss my sugar free maple syrup in it though. I get a lot of cravings and I know the fake stuff can contribute to that. I also use stevia, but I think the body still sees it as something sweet and is waiting for the energy (calories).  So no stevia in the oats either!

What about you?  Do you use it?  Do you think it hinders or helps weightloss?    I’m still undecided so any advice is greatly appreciated!

Cauliflower bread sticks!!

Cauliflower, egg whites, seasoning, and a sprinkle of cheese.

Blueberry protein muffins for the next 3 days. 
The top one was made in the microwave. 
Per serving:
28g oatmeal
8g almond meal
100g egg white
40g cottage cheese
40g blueberries
Baking soda, xanthan gum, almond extract. 
I add stevia to the top before I eat them. 

Hopefully these taste great! I’ll eat them at 2pm before my workout.

So I haven’t posted in a month or two. I know that I need to for support and accountability. I’m going to be better about it. To post here and also in my team’s forum. 

We went to trader joes this morning. My son was able to pick out one thing he would like. He picked baked Cheetos. So right now I’m saying NO and resisting the urge to even take one bite. 

I’m getting hangry but nursing our 5mo old on the couch first :)
